  1. City Council Workshop

    October 17, 2019, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Clayton's Government Center is located at the corner of Old Salem and Taywood Roads

    Council will be holding a Workshop Session beginning at 6:30 PM to discuss Stormwater Challenges and Station #85 Upgrades. There is no public input during the Workshop. Workshop Sessions are an opportunity for staff to present updates on city policies, plans for the future, and other presentations that keep Council informed of the activities around the City. Opportunities for the public to address Council occur during the regular meeting. Council will move to their regular meeting at the conclusion of the Workshop.

  3. Residential Leaf Collection - 1st Pass, Zones 1 & 3

    It’s that time of year again when the leaves begin to fall, and yards transition from the bright colors of summer to beautiful hues of autumn. To help residents remove fallen leaves, Clayton will continue offering two scheduled pickups starting in October through the end of November. Crews will also make additional tours through neighborhoods during the leaf pickup program and one time afterwards to ensure all the leaves taken out to the road during the program are removed prior to the snow removal season.     All kids grades K - 8th are invited to the City of Clayton’s Children’s Fall Festival! Pumpkin Carving Contests for all ages. Pumpkins and Carving Tools will be provided. Come dressed in your Costumes! Costume Contest following Pumpkin Carving. Goodie Bags will be handed out at the end of the event. Call (937) 836-3500 to reserve your spot!     October 16, 2019, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Clayton Council Chambers

    Each week will be dedicated to a department including Police, Fire, Service, Development, Finance, and Administration. Residents will learn what goes into providing each type of service to our residents and will get to glance behind the scenes of what makes local government function. This award recognizes property owners who are going over and beyond keeping their properties beautiful in the community. Residents are encouraged to nominate theirs, a neighbor’s or a friend’s property. Winners will receive a plaque and be recognized at a City Council meeting.
