Hoke Rd. to be repaved this summer

Clayton received a grant from Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission to repave Hoke Rd. The grant will cover approx. 65% of the cost to repave. Hoke Rd. will be repaved from Smith Dr. (just north of Wal-Mart) to National Rd. and south of Caterpillar to Westbrook. Repavement is happening in order to preserve existing road bed and address deteriorating road surface. The City is currently evaluating widening Hoke Rd. in the near future. Many factors need to addressed before widening can occur such as utility relocation, ROW acquisition, drainage, and funding sources to name a few. Clayton will continue to work towards improving infrastructure and opportunities to advance our residents quality of life.
