One of the great qualities of this community are the events and activities that are available for residents. Let us know what your organization is planning and find out more about the services offered by the city.

Spring Sweep Clayton Clean
Residents may dispose of junk, storage, furniture, wood, tree limbs and yard debris.  This event will be held Saturday, May 20th from 8 am to 1 pm.  Click here for more information.

Document Shredding
Allshred Services will be onsite at the Clayton Government Center Saturday, July 15th.  The event will run from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Residents are welcome to bring up to four bags or boxes of items to be shredded and can watch their items being shredded. Proof of residency required.  Sorry, no businesses.

Electronic Recycling
The last few years we have worked with Goodwill/Easter Seals on Electronic Recycling events for our residents.  We have been notified by Goodwill that they will not be hosting electronic recycling events this year, due to commodity prices being so low they cannot recover their costs.  However, we have found an alternative for you.  Ohio Drop Off has a location in Union, Ohio Mulch.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
We are hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th. The hunt begins promptly at 9:00 am, so please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to line up. The event will be held at Meadowbrook at Clayton and will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved inside. Children up to eight years old are welcome to come gather candy-filled eggs, we just ask that you bring your own basket. There will be three age groups: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-8. Bring your camera and have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Leaf Collection
Each fall the Clayton Service Department collects leaves from residential properties. Each property is guaranteed a minimum of two pickups. Attached is our annual leaf collection flyer which outlines the process and a schedule for each residential street.

Labor Day Fireworks
Clayton is hosting their annual Labor Day Celebration at Meadowbrook at Clayton on Sunday, September 3rd.  The event begins at 7:00 pm.  Join us for a fun family night out.  Cotton Candy, popcorn and snow-cones, entertainment by Northmont performance groups, and of course Fireworks at 9:00 p.m. 

Picnic in the Park
Benefit dinner supporting the purchase of disease resistant trees for Northview Park.  Tickets are $75 per couple and include one entry into a live raffle, heavy hors d'oeuvers, speciality food stations and non-alcoholic beverages.  A cash bar will be available. Cocktail attire suggested.  The event will be held Saturday, October 7th from 7-10 pm at Meadowbrook at Clayton.

Fall Sweep Clayton Clean
Residents may dispose of junk, storage, furniture, wood, tree limbs and yard debris.  This event will be held Saturday, October 21st from 8 am to 1 pm. at Fire Station 84 located at 200 Woolery Lane.

Carving & Costumes for Kids
All kids grades K-8th are invited to a free pumpkin carving and costume contests.  Goodie bags will be handed out at the end of the event.  Pumpkin & carving tools will be provided.  The event will be held at Meadowbrook at Clayton, Saturday, October 28th from 1-3 pm.  

Breakfast with Santa
Join Santa for breakfast.  A pancake breakfast buffet, pictures with Santa and a fun holiday craft to take home.  Tickets must be purchased in advance.  The event will be held at Meadowbrook at Clayton, Saturday, December 9th from 9-11 am.
