In an effort to help Clayton restaurants recover from the mandated shutdowns and social distancing requirements issued by the Governor, Clayton City Council approved a new temporary onsite outdoor seating permit at last night’s City Council meeting which allows for a portion of the restaurant’s already approved seating to be moved outdoors. To ensure social distancing requirements are met while encouraging restaurant establishments to resume operations, Clayton will provide flexible outdoor operations allowances during this time.
