The Clayton PD is highly suggesting that vehicle owners lock their vehicles when parked, whether the vehicle is parked on the street or driveway, to take away any 'opportunity' for theft.  There have been approx. seven thefts from vehicles on Crownwood/RanchHill/Afton and Rundell streets. ALL of the vehicles were unlocked and gone through with change mostly being stolen. Please help us prevent 'crimes of opportunity' by locking your vehicles!
